ok this thread is for people who are thinking bout getting pits and dont know how to ride a geared bike or just need some tips if your a newbie .

1.right the first you gotta is start the bike up just put your weight on the kickstart and kick down it does help to add throttle to this but only a tad you dont want any flooding if this happens just leave your bike for a few minties and start agian .

2. ok once its up and running warm it up for bout 2-5 mins just pull the throttle a bit and let it idle . you can use the choke as well but most 110's dont like this it stalls so i dont bother .

3. now for the harder parts press the clutch in its the lever on the left that on peds and push bikes would be the rear brake dont use this as a brake i did when i first got my bike but your get used to it being at your feet on the right . press it in and flick your shifter down if your bike is n1234 then push it up a tad then slowly let the clutch out the bike starts to bite there the top so add a tad of throttle then your away if your a beginger then its best to give your self a little push or walk foward slightly i used to do this and it helped me a lot .

4. now once your away change up into 2nd rideing in 1st gear is not the best thing to do as your blow your engine i only use first to pull way in . to go up a gear just press the cluth in and shift up or down then let the clutch out

5. dont dry shift or unneccerly make the clutch slip (i.e changing from 4th to 1st and dumping the clutch) - spitfire123

if you can do that then you've got it sorted if you wanna add anything please say thanks for reading .

you know that by riding in first gear wont blow the engine, it just wont feel right and not go very fast

it wont, theyre designed to be run in any gear, and are already limited on revs so you cant blow it

you will wear out the clutch and gears on average 5 times quicker if you do it.

once in a whike is okay tho:D

he does have a point about the restrictor.

the only thing is that if you do ride flat out in any gear for long periods of time your engine will overheat and cese causing it to blow.
