View Full Version : rear brake problem on thumpstar?

hi on my thumpstar i have looked up on how to bleed brakes and sort of understand how to do it but the problem i have is my current rear brake hose has snapped and i have got a new brake hose to replace it but when i take of the old hose will i have to drain all of the brake fluid so it doesnt pour out then attatch the new brake hose and then run fresh fluid throught it my main concern is , is it ok to drain all of the fluid so its empty then afterward run fresh fluid through it ? any help would be appreciated thank you.

use dot3 or dot4 oil
