2 of my mates i ride with have the superstomp 150 kx brand new out the shop.. and there shockin theyve bin nuffin but trouble 4 them both there rear shocks went on the same day on the same jump 1 of um the rings ave gone the bk caliper seized and snapped off throttle cable snapped all the baffles and **** were hangin out the exhaust and other lil fings just keep goin rong.... and my lil demon x 140 is still goin strong 2 this day and ive had it longer than theyve had theres well i got dirt in the carb and had 2 :censored: bout with it 4 a while but thats it....:D

Ooer.. I've just ordered a Stomp 150 (but with a different shock!) I do so hope mine doesn't fall apart :roll:

The truth of it is that I've had the same model Ducati as mates of mine and also the same model of Husky Supermoto as well. All new, all bought the same time, all either raced, thrashed or heavily tracked but some broke and some didn't. Some worse than others.

Now if one of the Dukes didn't break how would I assess whether it was a bad make of bike or not? Just because one of the others did?

Comparisons like this are totally spurious: some will break, some won't, regardless of make, model, colour, or even religion.

well both the men who have got them have been ridein motocross since they was kids so they can jump trust me:icon_lol: the jumps about 10 foot high and 20 foot long and ive heard from someone else that they was speaking to 2 guys up westonbirt who where saying the same fing and trust me there looked after well only rode once a week

The forks on both those bikes are similar.

But Stomp don't put Mazocchi stickers on their forks to fool little kids.

If it says Mazocchi on Stomps forks then they are Mazocchi...end of!

true but then i realised the bike ade is talking about is a bit more priced even so i keep looking at the forks on mazo's webbie and the stomp ones and to me its unclear but i take back what i said cause ade is good man and i dont believe he would mislead the public. as for the old stomp and its forks, no comment, not saying a word to bring up an old thread or arguement:)

Well now...

Having taken delivery of the new Stomp 150K on Saturday at Angmering and having 'run it in'.. sort of.. AND having ridden friends' Demon 110, 140, and 160 I can tell y'all that there's at least one significant difference between the Stomp and the Demon.

The Stomp appears to have a longer stroke which gives it more torque (that's grunt for the non-technical ;) ), but it hits the rev limiter a LOT sooner than the Demon, or at least than on any of the three models I tried.

It has a slightly larger frame too.

However, I can testify that it crashes in exactly the same way :)

sounds like a good cpmpapason, what model stomp & demon are we comparing here? as depending what you get they can either have the same engine or a different one but still at the same cc.

psps: dont keep refering me with demon cause i aint demon and my opionion was aimed at both demon and stomp, so you could compare all you want.

to the point Ive had a look at this more expensive stomp with mazo's and the mazo's on them compared with the ones on the mazo's site slightly differ but otherwise look genuine to me

2009 model Superstomp 150K

Demons were all 2007/8 models

The 110s and 140s were, I believe DX and DYX respecitively, varying between 10 and 12 inch wheels (for the tarmac track, not dirt); the only 160 I tried was my mates Proline - nice bit of kit too :) but that crashed pretty well with him on it - or should that be off it :icon_lol:

The price of Imported goods like Pitbikes goes up when the $ to the £ exchange rate falls.

This has been the case recently and has resulted in all importers of all makes of bikes putting up or about to put up their prices.

Welshpitbikes bought a large quanity of bikes recently to hedge against these exchange rate changes. We have held prices down where we can and for as long as we can.

However prices have risen, although we have given ample warning about this on our site. Unlike certain Sofa sellers and Kitchen sellers, when we say price rises are iminent its not just a sales gimmick!

Lots of Stock was bought at nearly $2 to the £. A quick check at the current rate will explain why prices have risen, as new stock comes through.

The price of the entry level bike has recently gone up because the turn over of this stock is quick and comes through at new rates.

The other higher specification bikes are about to rise in price as well as new stock arrives.

To answer the question "How Much And When"...well....... "How Much" depends on the exchange rate and "When" depends on how quickly customers buy up whats left of the lower priced stock.
