right i really want a fiddy so instead of buying a complete one i decided to build one (dont know why:confused:) anyway, my plans are:

Stock Frame check
88cc engine not fussed on what kit is on it...
Elka rear shock
Fast 50s small bore pipe
Fast 50's throttle
BBR bars Check
maybe a new rear swinger.... Check +2

31/10/08

so far iv got an 04 crf50 frame, stock swinger, *****y shock. On order is BBr bars, **** loads of Bolts, 10" wheels and maybe forks...

Iv started to sand down the frame and leave it an metal polished finish, but might spray it white, still got to do the swinger as this will be metal polished finish...

5/11/08

Brought Sik 50s forks similar to BBR SP-5s , and +2 swinger, also got my wheels, bbr bars.

20/11/08

Got my forks, also got red baron footpeg bar, Fast 50s clutch lever, rear 10" rim with disk, front wheel and brake set-up, got spacers made up for the swingarm, BBR bars on, Billetware bash-plate, just took some pictures of how it sits atm....

Sounds good,
I would get the frame sand blasted, a lot easier on the hands than sanding lol.

The frame he has looks steel to me, if he leaves it unprotected it will rust over night. the frame in the pic looks ally or chromed steel thats why it hasnt rusted.

if you want a polished steel frame you can try clear lacquer but it doesnt always stick very well.

Yep, you will need to laquer a stock 50 frame otherwise it will rust in no time.
