Its a good quality bike but I just dont like the rear swing arm!!

The rear suspention looks way to long and looks like it has too much travel.

Hello to all....new to the forum. I have the new MK1 SX, the only changes are the USD FastAce forks, oil cooler, and silver plastics. I immediately switched out swingarms for an extended CRF style. The forks work OK, but way too soft. Trying to find replacement springs, if not possible I'll shim what I got.

This is my 2nd Monster MK1, the first one blew the tranny 2nd time out and the swingarm was out of alignment, so they gave me a new one. This one had the same bent swingarm out of the crate, so I took it off before even riding it.

To any Monster owners.......if your bike has chewed up the chain tensioner, check your rear sprocket for wear on the outside of the teeth. Then start taking some measurements (using the frame as reference) of the swingarm and prepare to start cursing...LOL

yer but it now has a mighty mini engin init and i also put new mighty mini plastics on it it looks sooooo goood
