I think someone needs to make a sort of template that everyone should fill out, filling out the description / Location / Price / ect. Obviously pic aswell. What does everyone think about this??

good idea, perhaps the sales section of the forum could have a different layout like the projects threads :cool:

good point but i can't see why you would waste the extra time to change the font when it is completely irrelevant.

i think it should be left as it is for now none of yo are meaning when its you that sellin bits in there.

and i do feel that some of the mods dont know what there about on here this site just needs better mods older and more experience so that they can help people more and point in the right way.

this forum is for everyone so everyone as a right to post what they like its the mods they should be looking out more.

mods should have been in this from the start i started in 03 ive had over 10 pit bike all the makes nearly from thump xsport to crf50s pitsters and the bbr workz i have now i work very closely with this bikes i rebuild engines and am a atv mec for a living this what you should need to be a mod not some kid how is never off here:banghead:

7325 members, 8 moderators. Its nt possible to check up on each and every one of you, nt to mention the fact that a concensus on what 'right' posting is will never exist. If you hav a problem with a member and cant sort it amoungst yourselves ask a moderator to intervene. If a post on your thread is unnecessary ask a mod to delete it. If you see a thread you dont like, dont read it! Then you wont need to bitch about it... I speak for myself but IMO mods are here to break up fights, keep threads within acceptable standards and offer advise. Im sure there are members with more specific knowledge than some mods, so post and help people then- you dont hav to be a mod to help someone or for your opinion to mean something. Yes a template may be a good idea for sales posts, you do know mods cant set that up right? Send a pm to admin, mayb with a link to this thread and mayb something will be done on that side.

if all the kids was to stop useing the fourm like facebook and use it for advice
and meeting people with pits in there area it will work ok adtrip is having
the same probs keep up the good work mods thanks pat :thumbs:

well why not have a mod dedicated to the sales forum, and the threads with out pics are given 24hrs to get o pic up or it gets deleted! same as adtrip! easy.

Great idea, but needs some tweaking. How about we charge all of you a monthly membership fee, that'l cover paying some poor fcuk to babysit how people post. Hell il do it if you pay me! But until i get payed this is for fun and to help. Ask for help and you'l get it, dont expect me to 'keep order' and wipe your noses aswel.

i agree buying and selling things on hear can be a nightmare but its called pit bike club not ebay and things on here are sold in a more freindly way just have a bit of pacience with people. just remember the prices are usualy good and you usualy get wot you expect:thumbs:

PM me if it's something like that, e-mails have a tendency to get lost. I get about a couple hundered a day, so it's a busy job, lol.

Mods cant do evrything tho can they. think how many posts/threads are made on this forum. you cant expect them to check all that as they do actually have lives outside of pbc. hard to believe isnt it.!!

I personally think all for sale and wanted threads should be locked automatically.
So no replied can be made at all.


It works well on other forums. Any info you need, Contact the seller by PM.


Then once the item is sold or whatever. The seller can edit the first post.

This is a good idea as then it will mean less spam and less threads for you mods to go through maybe you should trial this and see how it goes.
