ive been thinking about switching to a thumb throttle and getting rid of the twist. whats your gentlemens opinion on this?

It aint that good on a bike i think, One of my mates has a mini dirt bike with thumb throttle and when i had a shot i hated the throttle

you ever uesed a thumb throttle befor ? trust me i would nt change if i was you. it makes your thumb ake 2.

id stick with the twist mate, thumb throttles kill your thumb after a few minutes

would be ok if you are only going slow but if you are thinking of going fast you will need your thumb to grip the bars :thumbs: stick to a normal throttle
if thunmb throttles were that good they would use them in compition racing etc. How about some sort of quick shift gear changer were say you have 2 buttons, 1 for up gears and 1 for down gears mounted on the left hand handle bar grip

quads have thumb throttle's and bike's have twist throttle's for reasons. mainly about your body positions on each type of bike... i'd like to see you hit a set of whoops at speed with a thumb throttle on a bike... good luck:thumbs:

haha yea, see ive road quads most of my life, so im used to the thumb throttle. but you all do have very good points, i think ill let the thumb throttle idea go. thanks for everyones input, very appreciated! :D:D:D:D

If you are riding over rough ground you WILL find it very hard to keep control of the throttle!
