These days there are plenty of tyres on the market for pit bike racing supermoto bikes, the main part off tyres come from scooters type and i have selected a list of tyres that will hope to fit your requierments

Sava MC18 - A hot sticky tyre that is a great all round tyre but in boiling hot weather they can over heat and go off with a big bang (accident)

Sava MC20 soft - these are the choice of most rich sponcored riders in the wet. only because they heat up quick and if it suddenlt turns boiling there don't over blow like the MC18's

Sava MC20 Hard - these are the tyres i have on, the best all rounder you can get for your money, great in the wet and brill in the dry :D

dunlop TT - a very fast rideri know named connor tagg rides with these on in the dry i was speaking to his dad and he says these tyres are best tyre in dry only beacause they last long in hot weather and they are super grippy

bridgestone ML50 - the fastest riders in the semrc ride with these on but they are superrich and hav a new pair every race, but if your that rich these tyres are great in all weather may it be wet or dry.

If you like to add some more tyres on to this thead please make a post below

Thanks Tom,

I have bought some cheap supermoto tyres off ebay, only piad £15 for two, so I don't know if they are any good. The point is it will been I can try out supermoto on the cheap and if I like it - I am sure I will, then I can upgrade.

A small question though - are Sava's etc. tubeless? The reason I ask is that these tyres I have bought have got Tubeless written on the side on the tyre, I'm guessing two things:

1) I can run the tyre with no tube if i buy a valve (is the wheel air tight??)
2) I COULD run a inner tube inside a tubless tyre with no problems

Are my guesses right??

Help would be welcome guys and girls

you cant run tubeless on standard wheels. the only way to run tubeless is to run billet wheels and the tyres will suck but you wont know the differnce so it doesnt matter untill you try to go back
