keep the one that is on there
stronger, and to me looks better but i suppose if you get a bbr mx style one or a rep it might be as strong if not stronger

a-frame ones tend to be better than straight ones if you wanted to change you would also need to change your shock as the a-frame ones are shorter

and the frame, cos the mounting points are different. or you could modify the frame buy yuo would need a welder and stuff

Even though Ive heard the shocks for flat swing arms are ment to be longer I read somewhere there were the same  anyone shed any light on this?

yes, what a pain in the ass. The A swing arm is better I think anyway, so no need to change

This shock is for flat swing arm yet its the same length as an (A) arm shock. 11" = about 27-28cm so how can it be longer travel. Anyone want to explain it? ( only difference is the 1000lbs for flat )

the travel of the shock is the same just not the travel on the swinger end where the wheel is.

Set the shock up properly and you wont have a problem:thumbs:

a shock can have same eye to eye length as the next but the stroke length may be different.
longer stroke length makes the travel smoother but it can wollow.

Although i've never heard of a snapped swinger on a pit, on either MX style of A swinger

i dont think swingarms will brake they can move where a frame cant
i think they should make somthink like a swingarm lengthener that screws on and makes it come out a little bit so the shock can go on
