Right, well theres my first say on the matter.

Second: Stomp 140 or 110 only way to go as most will say.

They are great build quality and great customer sevices

I have an off road bulldog 125cc - the engine is really good!! The frame a swapped for a stomp 110 and reinforced the engine mountings to suit. I have absolutely no complaints about the engine and it's capabilities.
I have heard that it depends on the batch of bikes, either bad frame or bad engine ... I seem to have got a REALLY good engine ...

I don't work for ghost bikes ... ha ha I wish - cheap parts since I have three of thier bikes!!

LOL!

Nah - I'm a network engineer ;)

And I'm only new to posting, not to the forums ... I like to look for a bit before I post ...

I've only been on bikes for about 6 months now and am still learning ... when I get better and win the girls races I will turn the screws and get me a nice fast 145 monster moto :icon_lol: Should mention that I'm a SHE not a he ...

You do realise that each bike is different, therefore there can actually be decent bikes within a batch. Another thing; "she" not "he"

I already have ONE trophy ;)
I guess it's personal preference - I ride with three blokes who all ride different motors to me and let me tell you something - in the wet - my little bike keeps on going - no stuttering nothing. While bikes drop like flies bogging, my engine keeps on ... I don't know why - but considering the UK is th wetest place on earth (almost quite literally) this is an important thing for me!!
Another thing - these guys bikes always need tinkering .. me I check my bolts and wheels and that's it!! (besides fuel and oil)

ya might not because some 125s can fit a 153 borekit and im sure they 160 borekits will fit for the lifan 140s becasue so many people have bought them.

and ive had a look for borekits and only found kits that go up to 140cc but im still looking :D

Just change the crank for a nice 68mm stroker  mmmmmmmmmmmm would be nice!! Dont have a clue where 2 get them tho, but that person with the 192cc pit seemed to think it has a 68mm stroke.

Hey guys

I'm the only one that works for GhostBikes.com that has an account on here - honest!

Regarding the older Bulldog Pit Dirt Bikes - in comparison to the amount of bikes we sell we only ever have a tiny % of complaints, it's true to say there was only a small batch that we had that had problems that you mention. Majority of our buyers are extremely happy with their Bulldogs and we often get emails to say just that :D

We re-order our bikes very frequently so sometimes its better to find a recent review of a bike and they are always upgraded as much as we can with each batch.

Remember bad old "Power off Road" if people genuinely had major issues with our bikes or service you would see hundreds of complains like they did, but we have given solid customer care for a lot of years and won't be running away! On forums sometimes a few user experiences do have a lot of weight - I'm not saying the reviews are false before you tell me off but just saying for the few that have problems there are a lot more that don't!

Fingers crossed the new models that should be here in a couple of weeks will be excellent all rounders

hey dont worry mate we all know that you are way better than power off road lets just say you have way more happy customers than them a hell of a lot mre :D

GhostBikes, you should really have a think about bringing the Shineray road legal back into your range. They were a great low budget alternative for people and were also very reliable from what ive heard.

As for the new Bulldogs I hope that they do go well and that maybe a few people who get them might join the forum so that we get an opion on them.

And don't forget, the customer is always right! :D

a really good idea if you're going to sell engines on their own is to make sure they are stamped on the engine with 125cc ... regardless of what is inside them  Monster 147cc engine says 125 on the side but has a beastie in the casing ... thinking about popping it into the on road ;0
