we were thinking around the £900 mark for it delivered, the person who owns the factory is a good friend of mine so get great after sales, warranty's ect. Here are some more pics:

To be honest, at that price I think most people would rather go with a well known brand such as stomp or demonX. As has been said, you could buy a proline for cheaper than that, and with them people know what they are buying.

what does proline offer as a aftersales?
spence09
23-07-2007, 11:52 PM
That's not my point though. Even so, say I were looking to buy one, how would I know that your aftersales were any better than what I would get with a proline?
nickrud
24-07-2007, 12:15 AM
At the moment we havent confimed any prices and still are concidering, you will know the aftersales as we will state it on the website. Im just testing the water at the moment to see what people think of it.

lol:icon_lol: its a big tube with a fancy arsed valve on the end.
No better than a tube realy. even tho theres already on on the back of the engine.

So its just to make it look nices that a red bull can then really, is their anything else that would be a good addition to this bike?:)

depends what price your asking, if its anything over 600 you would be better off with a more powerfull engine, Such as a YX engine, there based in china and make quality stuff, just dont ask for the 150 engine cos its bad, the 140 race tuned one is better with (from what i read) 14hp or 15hp at the flywheel and 12-13 at the rear wheel, where as the lifan 140 is 12hp at the flywheel.

The best thing to keep in your head is people want cheap power, if you can get a bike with a big engine and bad suspension or a bike with a smaller engine and very good suspension prittey much everyone will chose the bigger engined bike. Solong as its still a proper pit bike, with the horizontal engine.

Im trying to make this bike so that their is very little bad things on it, i have the other lower quality bikes for that, i want this bike to be the dogs bollacks.
dan-mel
24-07-2007, 10:03 PM
Ok, well if you want that, then you will want big money for it when you sell them, people wont pay big money if its just a usual lifan 140 like in some sub 400 quid bikes.
As to make the engine the dogs bolloks they will have to go out and spend a bunch getting it ported and tuned and new hi-comp pistons and cams and the works.
And they woudnt want to do that, cos if there paying alot in the first place they wont want to throw even more at it to make it a race winner.
If you look at the expensive bikes on ebay and such, a few have the YX140 engines, the demon has it, the stomp has it. And they also have good frames and good suspension, so if you want that sort of money you will have to either beat there specks or at least match them to make people buy your bikes.

its an extra breather tube it does actually do something.
it realives more crankcase pressure, so hopefully no more blown gaskets, and shagged up crankshafts.

A guess from my supplier is 10N.m and 15hp but this bike has not been made before so it needs to be professionally tested.
Probably get better guess tommorrow

theres not mini atom bombs going off in there every 2 mins, the one thats on the back does the job fine.

nice bike but i think £900 is to much and won't get much interested you can get a used klx for that or new crf70 etc
the proline is a great bike aswell and cheaper than those but there better designed for supermoto imo.
if your going to import bikes get something that will sell and at the moment bikes that are under £500 are selling like mad,
but if you still wanted to sell these i'ld test the water first to see how many would consider buying before importing or otherwise you'll be stuck with a load of bikes which will decrease in value as the pit bike market continues to expand:thumbs:
