whats the power rating of the lifan 140 engine? would there be a big diff from a 110cc thumpstar?

What they are trying to say is; yes you will notice the difference from you Thumpstar.

12hp is the actual hp output

well its a lifan 140 so thats the same as the stomps and all other bikes with a 140 engine unless they are race tuned of course but lucky to find that for less than £400

I own a evo 140 an would advise anybody to get 1 I've put mine up against a stomp 140 an me mates 150 an the evo striped the pair of them. U can buy 1 on ebay for 369 which is a good price when u compare it to the stomp price.

there is no way that would happen...

the stomps would kill the evo.

from the fly wheel yeh not the wheel.

yip.

or if it was actually 14hp thne the 150 would be almost obsolete. and the 150 has some mega upgrades to the 140,

so its common sense that tells ya its about 12hp from flywheel.

i feel a load of rant posts coming on..:icon_lol:

also spitfire its possible, if they were a better rider....its easily achievable.

no way would the stomp kill it not from stock. the carbs are **** and every stomp ive come across splutters like mad at the top. i was going to buy the stomp untill a few of my freinds baught them and they all splutter like crazy untill u change the carb. atleast the evo comes with a good carb already the evo is a cracking little bike which is very reliable

honestly mate there fun while they last, but after a month my crank shaft snapped, i have heard the same problem has happend with a few of them, if yours does last though, they are fast for a pit bike. so caution.

got mine from there for £369, got it home was running it in and the gearbox was crap, took it back to him and without a doubt instantly said i'll get you an already built up 1 with upgraded stuff, but opted for 1 in a box so i could get it home, not a problem with them or the bike now at all. an i mean i have gave it some of the hardest challange's. i've been riding motocross since i was 4 so as u could probs tell i dont hang around, only thing i've had to do are the fork seals, set the carb up a tad, and play about with sprockets, another good thing is you can get parts from anywhere !!
