the bulldog is a fantastic cheap replica chinese model with only a few flaws, one of them is the part that holds the shock in place attached to the top of the frame work, the metal is very soft which eventually bends of snaps off so getting this reinforced with some welding work is essential

the other flaw is that of the oil, the standard oil that comes with it is absolutly disgusting (dark brown colour) looks like something from the sewers, this is easily changes though just unscrew the bottom bolt and let it bleed out, replace the screw and replace the oil with a decent one such as castrol gp 4 stroke oil 10-40

riding the bike is fantastic, i can get around 60mph on mine, the gears are very jumpy for a 125cc - the engine is based on the suzuki 125 so you can imagine the fun you'll have on them, ive used 125 road bikes and the engines are nothing compared to these

the last problem is that because so many of these bikes are hand made quickly by the japs a lot of the screws are very loose so its always a good idea to check your bolts everytime you ride it, i use locktight with mine which does of course help

i will add pictures to my post as soon as i get it back from having the metal on the spring reinforced

Here are a few photos of my bulldog 125, had the bike for a week now and alrady I had to send some bits back:

Rear wheel sprocket all 4 bolts sheered.
Rear brake caliper just didnt work.
I must say that uk good deals (ghost bikes) thats where I brought the bike from were very good, I had the bits back within 2 days (all sorted). As mentioned in other threads just remember to check all nuts, bolts and screws before and after riding. I have soon to purchase a new throttle and levers as I find the ones which came with the bike are pretty naff!!
