Stomp 150's would be a good idea.
Or the Demon x Proline 150.

Then if you want further power, Stomp will tune the engines for you.

Stomp claim 15hp at the rear wheel on their Elite 150 and 15hp at the flywheel on the Superstomp 150.
I don't know about the Demon x for sure but I guess 15hp at the flywheel.

I dont know what they will tune the engine too, but for racing it would be well worth it

stomp and demons are 15hp rear wheel 16.9 hp flywheel

Except for the Superstomp 150 which is 15hp at the flywheel
Just so there is no confusion.

For more info contact Stomp, there number is on their website www.stompracing.co.uk (http://www.stompracing.co.uk)
For info on the Demonx's: PM members jameslanceley or dan-mel. Or take a look at www.pit-bike-world.co.uk (http://www.pit-bike-world.co.uk)

thats tuned to fook and the yx150 is not tuned and it hits 17hp flywheel so at tuned you can imagine hps of up to 20hp flywheel

i know that demon are thinking about developing a 20hp kit for the yx150cc in their bikes

I think the 150 probably is 15hp at the rear wheel as the 140 is 14hp at the flywheel, so if the 150 is 15hp at the flywheel then that would only be 1 more hp with 10 more cc's  . It would never be worth the extra money.....

atticus
17-09-2007, 11:30 PM
Ade has said he would ask Mark at Stomp whether the figure was from the flywheel or the rear wheel so until then, we wait. Although I maintain that it is from the flywheel, as if it wasn't it would make the Elite version pretty pointless (bar the zocchis)

jameslanceley
17-09-2007, 11:31 PM
Oh My Friggin God

The 150cc Engine Is 15hp At Rear Wheel

16.9 At Flywheel

Thats A Improvement Of 2.9hp

For A Xtra 10cc

atticus
17-09-2007, 11:35 PM
Like I said, i'll wait for Mark at Stomp to say. He will either prove me wrong or back me up, either way i'm not that bothered. I am more bothered that you have shown me any evidence that the are taken from the flywheel, whereas I have given you manufactors figures that are displayed on Stomps website.
Do you now see why I am not inclined to side with you?

jameslanceley
17-09-2007, 11:48 PM
can i ask why would they lie

do you think mr stomp would go all the way to china to work on the engine then spend loads buying them and putting them in their bikes if their figures were untue

i again ask would they market the bikes with theese figures aswell becasue fi they are false then they can get done a lot of money for false advertising

and what will "ade" come back with exactly whats on the stomp website or a dyno chart

their has already been a dyno chart put up by tim at demon saying that the flywheel was 16.9 possibly 16.97 im not shure i cant remember but it was definatley 16.9 sumthing

why would they make that up

atticus trust people

lets just say when i rode the proline elite it felt like 15 enormous stallions were pushing me (from the rear wheel that is ) :p

but i do see where your coming from :D

atticus
17-09-2007, 11:53 PM
I'm not saying that they would ever lie.
I'm purely on about the Superstomp 150, as it doesn't state "at the rear wheel" like the Elite does so therefore, it would be a figure from the flywheel. Perhaps it is a typo on the web designers behalf, but I will wait for what Mark at Stomp says. Because he will know more than any of us will, you can agree to that ;)

Oh and to any thinking; WTF! I can argue to the death if I believe i'm right :icon_lol: So bare with until it's resolved

jameslanceley
17-09-2007, 11:58 PM
lol yea lets wait

but if that is flywheel then i will send you personally a proline elite 150 for free thats how confident i am lol becasue they got the yx140s to be 15hp at flywheel so their must be a gain with 10cc lol anyway time will tell

jameslanceley
18-09-2007, 12:01 AM
Just checked the stomp website and for the stomp elite 150 it says 15hp rear wheel but not for the superstomp 150

but the engines have the same specs  so its gotta be

Just out of interest, im not disputing anything :).

I've heard that Stompracing now have one in their warehouse for preping and testing bikes.
How many importers can say that, this was one reason why I opted for Stomp cos they are serious about their bikes.

zocchis worth a bit and good rear shock and pro tapers and probably everything else is better.
and look at the superstomp 140 and elite 140, both same engine and 14hp flywheel. :p
its the same engine so same hp, i bet your wrong :p

So what your saying is spend Ģ500-800 quid getting a CRF engine, then putting some take Kit on (which is bloody expensive) and it will put out about 10hp and still be a 3 speed semi auto. fare enough it will probs be more reliable if you mentain it realy well. But i bet it wont last as long as 2 well kept chink engines would. And the chink would be more powerfull.

And if you do SM the more the merrier realy, i rode the demon proline YX150 SM bike on an SM track and it didnt spin or anything apart from when you got to the wrong part of the track where all the dust and **** is.

And there are plenty of take engines that put out over 14hp, so your saying there all pointless then???

I guess you never went to see mr stomp dyno his engine.

There are dyno charts if you want them, but you will only say there not from that engine and so on.

TBF i have been on a bike with that engine, it flys, and pulls great from very few revs. It was great fun. thats what its about. Its not about trying to convince you that its 15hp at the rear. Because i doubt you will ever agree no matter how many charts you get.

and also a bike could have 1000000000000hp at the end of the day it will be **** if its no fun to ride

we have rode the proline 150yx and its very fun to ride
