Buying a Pit bike this Christmas.....

Ok so you decided to buy yourself a SPANKING new PITBIKE for the kids, (or yourself even ;) ) for Christmas.

The first thing you want to know is........."Is the company or trader I chose to buy from Reliable?"

Well There are a number of PBC forum sponsors that are Totally reliable and come on here regularly to back up their products.

I don't know if this has already been said but you really need to stress to members NEVER to give money in ADVANCE for pre-order deals no matter how GREAT the deal looks.

Only buy from a company who has the stock available ready to pick up or post out straightaway and can provide a tracking number if you request one.

that is totally untrue
as we offer a pay for a preorder scheme and also offer a tracking number when the bike is delivered

we have had no problems about delivery of our bikes so members this is utter nonsense

To be honest, maybe I worded it wrong... :o I was replying in a post already saying that the sponsors of the site are reliable so I didnt think to add that again. Also I had no idea that you did Pre-Orders or I would have been more tactful

We still get people that tell us how they were "burnt" by the whole POR stuff that happened last year. All I was trying to say was be careful as usually its this time of the year that new sites appear, do heavy advertising and are gone again!:banghead:

So hopefully you get what I was trying to say & sorry if I offended you :)

This sort of preorder system is fine as the customer has nothing to lose, its more of a pre-book service where they keep a bike in reserve for you :thumbs:

Yes we are holding bikes for customers on a reserve list, when they come in we check if they still want them, if they do, they pay then, for next day TNT delivery.

We cannot be fairer than that.

I also do this in my shop for people who want me to hold bikes for collection untill its their payday.

hi all its great to see you give good advice.and dont just take the money
and run . it was not like that 2 years ago when i got 1 bike off power off road
what a big mistake or ****take .i know a mate that worked there so got my
bike .but when the bike went tits up no one could get parts but just give
bull**** .i know 4 guys who went to get money back and got rubber cheques.
so its hats off :thumbs: to all great to get good info keep up the good work:D

p.s 400 more of probably the best stomps carlsberg can make get me some carlsberg stickers ha ha
