I dont want to speak out of favour about BAM but are they for real !!???
just seen to many sites like this before offering quality parts very very cheap, Ive treid calling them for 2 days now and hey ***ody answers the phones !!!!! not great business practise for someone trying to get into the market...........and i bet if i get through ill be told "they'll be in shortly mate" or something like that and then the parts wont ever arrive.
I really do hope i am very wrong (just an old skeptic)
Has anybody actually been in contact with them or bought any parts yet??

No i haven't but im going to try. It reminds me of poweroffraod and the rampage. But i agree with full throtle it does seem quite wierd and the products are cheap

HI there B.A.M
Im interested in a pair of your forks and would like to know how much they are as one part of the site says they are £200 and then another says £235, may just be a typing error........and do these forks come with suitable size bearings to fit the stearer stem and into chinease copy frame's headtube, also what side leg is the brake mount fitted and will it come with a new front brake.
Many thanks for any info you can give me.
Alex

Lo Alex I think one price is without VAT and the other is with it
ChrisT

The forks are £235 with VAT. I have heard that you have to have different bearings at the stem for them to fit. And also mod ya wheel bearings too

I had emailed in reply to you. You told me that I can pick the bike up in person from a contact in windsor. I have found that YOU are the guy in windsor so a little bit of straight talking wouldnt go a miss?
Also I pmed you earlier with my phone no. and still no joy.
Shocking really with the amount you promise.
Im sorry but stop promising me things and then dont follow them up. Also why are you on here under the name of "BAM" when you are the guy from "inersia" ??

Sorry i dont understand,
I did pass on your number, i thought i was helping you out
I am the web manager for BAM,
We do have a contact in windsor that you can collect the bikes from but i can assure you it is not me. It is also where inersia is based.
I dont aprieciate your tone especially as i went out of my way after i had finished work to make sure they had your phone number.
If you have any further issues i suggest you email BAM direct

Have been called by a guy "Paul" that I think you passed my number onto.
It's him thats your contact and that I will be collecting the bike from.
Many thanks

Calm down ladies, dont turn this into an argument. Am sure there just a misunderstanding along the lines. I dont think BAM is doing it on a purpose as of so far there is quite a few people interested in stuff he has so I expect he is quite busy at times. Hope it comes together ok
STIGGY
27-07-2006, 09:23 PM
yes the guy had explained that they are hectic as they are setting it all up.
A few peeps have told me that im being messed around and it was just getting frustrating not getting any kind of response. Im sure on tuesday i will be posting on here saying how classy bam and inersia are.....

Sorry i dont understand,
I am the web manager for BAM,
So if your "web manager" why do you handle sales promotion, maybe instead of getting into arguments keep to low key for the minute as all your doing is giving your self bad rep not only hear on another forum aswell.

BAM you say on the website you give a 12 month warranty on the engine. Is there any 'small print' to this. Cos if there isnt I may be very interested in buying the BBR frame style bike as it does look pretty well built but I have never experienced that engine before
Lewis_#101
27-07-2006, 09:32 PM
No way, how can a 12 month warrenty be valid?
there be bust within first month
ChrisT
27-07-2006, 09:34 PM
Well it says 12 month warranty on the engine. Lets see what he has to say
STIGGY
27-07-2006, 09:41 PM
this is my point. i was very friendly and eager to buy.
It's not me thats been off. I just want a bike and not to keep being palmed off.

Look guys give BAM a chance ,There new and have a lot of stuff to be sorting out setting up a buisness of this kind.
Just hold fire on your misconceptions till they are proved otherwise,
I have heard of ***ody as yet being had over by them and if they say the motor has a 12 month warrenty then i should think it would say so on your sales reciept.
I think BAM have done a good job in repying to your questions considering the flack some members have been giving them.
If there are delays then its to be expected as customs can delay deivery of shipments for upto 2 weeks until they proccess and inspect containers.
Id undestand if you all had handed over your cash but you havent so how can they be blagging you.
So stop trolling guys and see what BAM come up with.If they dont come up with the goods youve payed for then thats a different matter and then start slating them by all means!

I see ya point lee mate but the company is inersia and have sold over 1000 bikes over the last 3 / 4 years.
Its new stock, not a new company.
All I asked for was a little helpful communication. Besides. I spoke to one of the guy "Paul" and he was dead helpful and am hopefully going up 2 meet him on tuesday!. wahoo!!
like i said. i bet next week im praising them no end.

Hello again B.A.M, still would like some info regarding your forks, i posted on here a few days ago but no answers yet.
its regarding the fitting of the stem to a chinease copy frame, 1. do i need to modify the stem/bearing etc. 2. will this kit come with a brake or will i have to find a brake to fit the left leg as mine is on the right fork leg.PLEASE let me know.
I know of another very good place on the net that sells this fork kit with the correct bearings and a complete brake kit for just £299.with no V.A.T and next day delivery...........sounds like a bargain to me!!!!!!!!!!! (pm for web address, if thats ok mod?)
Also if your showing prices that are going to carry V.A.T it is a legal requirment to state this in any advertising, not just add it on later "£200 plus V.A.T" would make it more understandable for the layman. Also all advertising MUST carry your V.A.T number!! if you are registered for V.A.T.
just my 2 cents worth not a dig at you B.A.M think youve had enough of that!!
Anyway any ifo would be helpfull.

pretty chuffed all round!
very sturdy frame with decent welds. Fooking nice tread on the rear wheel.
Gonna have to do the usual change of chink oil and plug. probs the chain too.
One thing is though it states that starts in any gear.. doesn't!
Love the bike. cheers inersia. Great doing business with you.

We only advertise the dsx pro and dbr pro with start in any gear as they have the 127.1cc engine.
The DSX 125 uses a 54x54 engine setup to keep within the 125cc restricted races. The only compromise on this engine is that it is not start in any gear. But will the all up transmission its has not caused a problem as its easy to get into neutral.
This engine still however has the monster valve head, and pushes just under 8.5hp on our dyno, which is more than the standard lifan 120cc big valve engines that you will find elsewhere
