Think your quite experienced?
Time to try something else rather than going fast n the slight jumps, Why not try wheelies, here's my 'How to do a wheelie'
What you want to do is, is ride along in 1st gear fairly slow. Put your right foot on the rear brake, but don't press it down at all. This is a safegaurd to save you if the front wheel comes up too high. Just tap your foot down onto the brake if you freak out. This will bring your front wheel back to earth very quickly.
Next thing to do is rev your engine with the clutch pulled in and hold the throttle maybe 1/3 open. Don't rev too high otherwise you'll flip right over. As you hold the revs at a steady pace, just release the clutch quickly and smoothly. I tend to only use 1 or 2 fingers so that you can still hold the bars tight. Keep practicing with your revs gradually getting higher until the wheel comes up high enough to keep the wheelie going for a while.
As you progress with your wheelies, you need to learn to bring the front up higher right up to the balance point. You'll actually need to tap the rear brake quite a bit to balance the bike out and eventually slow the wheelie down. Using the rear brake is not an option, its part of the technique for having a wheelie completely in control.
Slowing down a wheelie down is very advanced so I don't advise it until you feel comfortable with balance point wheelies.
Be sure to wear at least a helmet when learning because it can save you big time

you should try it in second without using the clutch. find the tork, blip it up,catch it then head for 3rd gear for big long wheelies! first gear is for controlled wheelies up hills ect:thumbs:

This is for beginners, your PRO :Dyea but a wheelie is easier with abit of speed as it balences you out abit otherwise your get it up in 1st and then struggle to keep it straight if your not good. Also i agree with jim, clutching it is not the best way and 2nd gear is better to pull up with, long as your comfortable with your riding and balence you shouldnt worry just do it.

No, i just think well if i can do it why shouldn't everyone else be able to like my mate for instance, hes had his bike since september he wont even go past 20mph he wont jump or even attempt to wheelie, so i showed him this and he thought well you can do it and you've had yours shorter and i guess its not that hard and now he keeps trying when we go, so if it helps people, i'm glad I helped ;)
and BEN, you expect someone whos never attempted a wheelie to do it and get from london to berlin? lol

First gear isn't the ideal gear really, as has been stated; the range is too short.
