how do i make my rear shock harder?

standard thumpstar.

the spring is yellow and it is ajustable.

is it a case of just turning it or do i have to take anything off?

not sure what a standard thump shock is like but you could try to load the spring a bit more by windin the lockring/collars up to put more load on the spring but to be honest mate you'd be best upgradin to an aftermarket shock
