Went on Saturday, fist time on SM with the bike.
Prepping involved buying a cheap pair of tyres for a tenner a set (brand new off ebay) and making a carb overflow bottle, not really needed but was bored at work last week so I made a trick alloy one.

The cheap tyres were sketchy until I had scubbed them in and by the 3rd session they werent too bad and I could proper wang it over and get my knee down, hee hee. Even scraped the pegs, so they cant be that bad, and my bike is set pretty high too.
At first I didnt know if I should foot out or knee down, but it felt better knee down so was faster that way.

Track is pretty cool, paddock corner is ace, braking as you tip in and the chicane feels good when you go through it flat out.
Someone said they were extending the track with an off road section and jump so it will be like real SM, would be ace that.

Going again next weekend, anyone up for a sesh? :D

Yeah there were a couple, Andy was there and another pit biker who was the Dad of a little minimoto rider. About 4 or 5 minimotos as well, a couple of karts and a few big supermotos.

Dont know if they are open bank holiday monday, am working anyway so I cant make it. No one else in work, so taking the bike in and making stuff for it instead of developing boilers!! Ha ha.

Am there next weekend though mate.
