alright people
i got a few squids in my wallet at mo (£175) and wanting to spend on my bike i was looking at getting one of thoes bike racks that fitt on the back of the tow bar but not to sure what else to get i already got a new shock thursday
any other suggestions would be brill

trailer maybe, btw how much did u pay 4 your towbar and does a trailer only need single electrics???
new wheels, plastics ,carb, brakes ,handle bars,new forks to go with your new shock eg fast ace but not all of these sugestions lol

the tow bar already come with the van fella and i dont have a licence to tow that y i want to get one of thoes bike rack thingys :thumbs:

cool i do like the new all white plastic, graphics and seat not sure how much they are tho :confused:
if its a van why dont you put the bike in the van n spend the money on performance

just ordered a bike carrier for the back of my polo. Got it for £72 delivered. Was going to get a trailer but found out i have to do another test for it.
i can give you the link if you want on those carriers.

yes mate if you passed your driving test after jan 1997 you need to take another test to tow a trailer.

yep put me off getting one. Will be a pain in the arse only bein able to take one bike about with the carrier but better 1 bike than none :thumbs:

what when did this rule come out????
s'far as i know you're allowed to tow a trailer s'long as its under a certain weight, 770kg i think, not sure.

cos i got all my plumbing gear and tools in back and cant be bothered to keep unloading and loding back up after being at the track all day lol:icon_lol: lazy i gess

yer you have to do a trailer test stupid realy it will show a little car and trailer at back of yor lience if you have it but i think they stoped doing that ten years ago money making thing i guss bloody goverment :mad:

the rule has been in effect since 1997. Pass before then and your allowed to tow anyway, pass after and you need to take an extra test as its an extra axel on your vehicle.

its only a little kango van and it is racked out one side bit of a pain realy
ohhh i thorught it was like a transit or a escort van get a roof rack it will be reet aslong as you tie it down well

i got a roof rack but the van is about 5ft tall might be a bit of a strugle to lift it up lol :icon_lol: +if i get a rack on the back i could always put my mates bike in the van as well :thumbs:

do you no witch one i would need at all fella as my van is only small so i dont think i would need the motor home/van one :confused:

you could always take the test for the trailer and then carry more than 1 bike in the long way it would be alot better and could help you with your job
