Yes and it depends on the circuit as to which beacon type they use, are you looking purely for the transponder itself or one and the trackside beacon? As transponder in its own is useless unless the circuit has its timing loop turned on bud, also a fairly big no no on trackdays to time as you invalidate the circuits insurance as you are timing which is only covered on test days not trackdays

Matchams have a loop and its for racing because atm im borrowin a kart one

you can found also used "good brand" trasponders for about 60-80£ (GPT and AIM over all)
