mikuni 22mm carb setup masai db125h
does anyone know the best setup for a mikuni 22mm carb?
my bike is a masai db125h with an FMF 4.1 exhaust not sure on the current jet size but i cant get it to idle properly or rev up correctly it works fine on the molkt carb but i want to use the mikuni! what should the float height etc be at also?? |

i had a xsport cr3 125 i put 17.5 pilot jet and 112.5 main jet in a 22mm carb.

Ok thanks I've took the jets off and the big one with the screw looks like it says 95 and the small one says 15 too low I'm guessing

Turns out the Carb was a fake mikuni so I've bought a genuine one got it on the bike just gotta set the mixture up now how do I tell if the choke is on or off as it doesn't say clearly enough

Up is on and down is off.

Top one is not a real VM22. It's so called "genuine VM22" by many pit bike parts suppliers. Bottom one is a real VM22 which you can find on mikuni website. I have to admit that chinese made a very good carb for money and even use genuine mikuni jets. It works very well. I just bought one myself.
You need 17.5 pilot and 107.5 to 112.5 main depending on your 125 engine setup. |
