Rampage Pit Bike v Rampage Gen2 (Info Read)
 

Right here goes,

You may have read some of my earlier posts about bikes etc. Anyway i'm buying my 12yr old son a pit bike and have more or less made my mind up on either the 110cc/125cc Rampage Pit Bike or for an extra few squids i could get the Gen2. But i have a dilema:

The gen 2 comes with a 14 front and a 12 rear against the standard Rampage Pit which has 10 front and rear. Personally i prefer the gen2 size wheels as it makes the bike sit at 770mm seat height, which i know he will look at it on his birthday and see a nice fairly good size bike but if i get the 10inch one he will probably say its a kiddies bike (I know we all know better but i'm thinking like a 12yr old kid at the moment). Anyway the questions i have is as follows:

1. If he wanted to race it as a mini/midi later on is this allowed with the 12/14's on?

2. Will 10 inch wheels fit on this bike??

3. Will it be allowed on an open track practise day for mini's/moto's with the 12/14's on??

4. Can you put 12's or 14's on the standard Rampage Pit Bike??

5. If later on he wants to get in to normal motox will any of these bike be any good for DAD ;-) keeping in mind that im 5ft11 and 16.5 stone (Fat B88tard i know!!!!)
