Pit bike brake pedal stuck!!!

So my brake pedal is stuck and wouldn't push down, after removing the calliper and resivoir so I know it's not a ceized calliper, I sprayed loads of WD40 and can force the pedal up and down with my hand but i cant pull it off of the frame. And ideas? Thanks.

Bent bar ?

Liam1445 30-04-2017 11:16 PM

Possibly. It didn't look bent but if it is, how would i get it off when the bar is attached to the frame?

Do you have pictures ? Do you mean the bar is on the brake pedal is so there's a pin in it you remove the split pin and pull the one in the pedal out

Yes, i have removed the split pin and washer from the bar but the pedal is really stiff and i can barley move it up or down and it wont come off, and I don't have pictures rn as it is currently 1am where i live lol

Looks rusted in hit it of from the back of it once off clean the bar with sand paper and put oil or grease on there

Yeah i tried hitting it with a hammer hence the bent part behind the pedal but it wont come off. I think i will try with the bike lying on it's side so i can get a better angle🤔

Oil it up first or heat it with a blow torch
