Hey Dangle_kt, Sorry about the delay. Some people think Ive got Alziemers but Ive allways been like it. right please bear with me. I Once had a 650 B.S.A. which had mag ignition. but that was a long time ago . Is the C.D.I. the little coil thing bolted next to the flywheel (stator) Ive got 5 wires comin from the engine. green an bluenwhite which are from the little coil.an 2 yeller,blacknred.
My rectifier has green, yeller, pink, rednwhite. The greens are both earths. the yellows put out power.
Does the direct ignition power have to go through the rectifier or can it go - yellow from stator to coil to blue and white through the thing Ive been calling little coil to earth? Im sorry to be such an old fart but . Hey I am an old fart!!!!
