Pit Bike Club - View Single Post - Pit Bike Sputtering and Backfiring Help!!

Hi all i have a road legal pit bike and it was fine when i bought it second hand.I bought a New exhaust and spark plug for it and it was running fine until after about half hour of riding it started sputtering in every gear and will then cut out and only after cleaning the carb will it start up again but it still sputters.What should i do??
