Why are you fixated on SnapOn> For a starters theres better out there, but why dont you buy Halfords Professional? You could get loads brand new with your budget and you get lifetime gaurentee, as said above!

To me a tool set is a tool set but at work all the lads have told me to go for snap on as they have big, big boxes and they say they wouldnt choose anything else. Didnt really think about considering anything else

why dont u go for another make mate just a option me n my bro and dad use snap ons i do cars and vans and were allways snapin the heads and its a bomb to get the fixed theres a few other very decent tools out there made from the same stuff just not got the snap on stamped on but ur best bet is ur local garige we have tool man whos cums u dont get that much discount but i gues every penny counts

Snap on aren't all that. Plenty of other decent tools that are just as good but half the price. Snap on is just a fancy badge, which is all well and good but the only people that will see it is a bunch of fat sweaty men in a garage

why dont you look at makes like kamasa,britool,king ****,teng,facom,elora ect there very good tools.dont copy other people,why not be different?i guarentee you will be able to do the same jobs as the other people in the garage by using say teng tools.

snap-on have that brand name and to be fair there isnt much better out there ,many mechanics will say snap-on is the best and i know they r fkin good ....ask ya work what they class as a valid reciept then look in the free ads there are always ex mechanics getting rid of full sets and 2k shud get u wat u want

The kits they have though is unbelivble, the tool boxes alone cost them 3 and half grand I wouldnt even dear think about buying one of them, well unless mercedes was willing to purchase me one Mercedes themselves have offered me a starter kit for 2k but believe personally i will be able to get better tool quality for that price.
