Re: Carb Setup - WPB 125

Ok having sorted which is the idle and which is the air bypass (aka mixture)

Bogging on rapid throttle opening is normal there is a nack to prevent bogging and that's slowly at first through first 1/4 opening to give it time to adjust then more rapid.

To help prevent the initial bog you need a richer idle mixture and you do this by closing or screwing IN the mixture or air bypass screw a liitle.

The mikuni tuning manual explains all about tunning these carbs and what to adjust at what rev range, its well worth reading.

Also check your valve clearances are not too tight maybe.

Talking Re: Carb Setup - WPB 125

Thanks guys!!!

I striped the carb down to make sure it was clean. Then moved the needle down one notch and set the air screw to 1 1/2 out and its now running perfect

Thanks all for your help!!
