I don't have a blow torch but i used WD40 last time and was able to get it to move up and down slightly so I'll try that again.

What am I supposed to do with that lol, I've used oil but it's stuck on the bar so i can't use a brush or sand paper, i just need to get it off☺️

Wire brush as close as you can to the lever another thing to try is put a socket over the bar that holds the lever on and hit it like your hitting it on then hit it the other way

Well i got it off and it's fine now, i just pushed it up and diwn loads with my hand and sometimes a hammer and managed to loosen it up and got it moving freely and then was able to slide the bar off after filing fown the edge of the bar as I accidentally slightly mushroomed it with a hammer but i have replaced the brake and it works fine now☺️
