Right so basically i've already asked this question (sorta) on here but i made a right mess of it as i didn't really know what i was talking about so i thought i'd ask again simplifying the question...
So i want to get some USD forks for a 5.5" stem/headstock but cannot find any the only ones i can find are for 6.25" headstocks. so I was wondering if i got a pair of fork legs, top yoke & bottom yoke with handle bar risers and bought a new 5.5" steering stem with bearings ect... would i be able to just assemble it all like that? because all the triple clamps come with a 6.25" stem that is 23mm at the bottom but the only 5.5" stem i can find is 25mm at the bottom of the stem so i'm thinking surely the 5.5" stem with 25mm at the bottom wont fit in the bottom yoke that is made for a 23mm lower stem?
Is there any other way around this if this wont work? i'll leave a link to all 3 parts to this set up at the bottom and thanks in advance for any replies i get!
