Gopro help

I'm wanting to get a go pro soon but there's so many out not not sure witch one to get and what one is best... Do they come with soft ware to edit (if so is it a bit basic)? Or should I get a different one if so what is the best...

I know there a few people that use them on here so hopefully you can point me in there right direction.. I also heard that there has been a big batch of them that have gone wrong lately.

Cheers Dan

Re: Gopro help

Ive just got the hero 3 white edition mate and its spot on. I had the same decision to make, the hero 3 white or hero 2 as there the same price now. From the research i did i found three hero3 versions the white, silver and black. the white is to replace the hero 1 same spec same 1080p record same 5mp camera juat better lens for criper pics. hero 3 silver to replace hero 2 again all same specs just better lens. then the muts nuts hero 3 black. i recon only for serious people wanting to make tv spec videos. the advantage of the 3 tho are they are 25% smaller, better mic and all have built in wifi to use the go pro app. Personally i went for the hero 3 because of the wifi and the fact you can see the view from the camera so no need for lcd back or wifi and i reckon go pro are going to phase out the 2 with the bigger body and so spares and cases might be harder to get, but thats just my opinion also the 3 has a better case for underwater shots
