Where is the mixture screw?

I can't find the mixture screw on my carb. The only screws I can find are the tickover setting (bike revs higher the more I screw it in) and the screw in the bottom of the float bowl that I guess drains the fuel.

Is it at all likely that there is no mixture screw?

Looks like a mikuni vm22, the mixture screw is underneath manifold side of the bowl
