lifan 140 clutch help

Hi,i have a yx140 and the clutch is totally mashed so iv fitted all the internals clutch ect from a lifan140 but it came with no clutch casingso does anyone know if the clutch arm that sits inside the clutch casing is the same as the yx140 iv tryed searching the net for a picture of one but havent found anything

lifan kickstart gears are different to yx gears.teeth are more spaced out on lifans.so will need to change the kick start gears.

yeah its a yx140 with the clutch basket and other wheel that goes infront i think its called the slinger and im using the yx140 clutch casing and and arm ect

anyways i gave it ago and the clutch lever feels right and feels like its working but i put it in gear pulled the clutch in and turned the front sprocket on the engine but its not working feels like its still in gear

i was thinkin maybe the plates just need freeing off could this be the problem do you think? i would take some pictures but my camras dead at the moment.

are you sure you put it together correctly? I would recheck. common mistakes is when people put the stud washer down 1st and then the lock washer ontop instead of the other way round, then it seems like the bike is always ingear wether the clutch is engaged or disengaged

Hi,by stud washer do you mean the ones that hold the basket on before the plates fit in? as iv put the lock washer on first then the washer with like say 3 prongs that sits in the splines ill go check it again 2day just seems funny how if feels like its working but isent

just found these 2 pics wail looking for info on here about the clutch and i think iv found the problem heres the pics

on the first pic theres like a small roller sleeve? in the center of what i think is called the slinger that sits in the hole on the casing iv not got one on mine could this be the problem?

the dowl is ment to sit flat.

and what you call the roller sleeve is ment to fit in the cover

and are those cracks in the cover?

Thats not my clutch buddy just some pics i found on here same as mine.

well i dunno what could be up with it then ill go take it all apart for a 3rd time lol 3rd time lucky i bet i aint ill try and take some pics depends if the cam batterys ar charged yet
