Re: fed up with 40 kicks :/

to despise

ive taken the killswitch off to see if it was that and nah that wernt it

spark seems ok but i aint seen another spark on a different bike so i could look at my mates one ?

which is why i didnt think it was electrical :/

compression is ok i spose

no im not holding clutch in

and i cant get the bike to work with choke on at all it just kills it

i usally turn choke on kick it till i start to hear it go to fire then i push choke in then kick away till it starts

doing it the way tutorials say to do it before im asked lol

despise what are you running on your balve clearences ? and does your bike start 1st or 2nd kick ?

also could timing be a issue ? i dout this as the bike runs fine when it gets going ?

many thanks

i know you hate me replying to your threads, but surely once the bike is warm and it starts piss easy, just shows that it wont start easily just because its cold, so you could seriously f up your bike months before you sell it.

well if the bike runs, when you have it running, do a plug chop to see how the mixture is, make sure thats ok before you do anything else. if its ok then im i would say its still an electrical problem at the CDI or stator (maybe even the pickup gap?)

on my sr I have a yx140 with valve clenerence .008 in .010 out and starts 1st kick with choke off everytime (only very occasionally will it be 2nd kick start)

@haveagoade - in mx the bikes dont like to restart easy if you stall it when there hot sometimes, they kind of become temperamental
