Been suffering with some bad knee's and over the last 2 or so months my left knee has been agonny on and off, final straw was when i finished riding at tormarton at the weekend i was on the 2hr drive home and after 20 minutes in the van i was nearly crying in pain, had to stick seat right back which made the drive interesting,
It seems i have finally ground down the bones enough for it to be a more regular pain, its down to the lack of fluid that naturally should be there to prevent friction on the bones,
So off this afternoon to a specialist, to see if its injections or reconstruction, so might be selling the bike not that long after getting into riding it, if its not good news.
Stupid thing is my right leg and knee are fine and they are held together with metal work and screws.
Fingers crossed its just a series of injections of the fluid i'm missing.
Have to get constant injections in my left knee too after smashing the cap while ice skating 4 years ago, like you mine also ground down and got painfull.. especially when driving long distance when the leg doesnt move much !!
happy days, i've got tears to my patella tendon, and my knee cap is miss alligned so its ice packs and physion for me for a while but no surgery yet so thats cool.
hope you dont have to sell ya bike
