Need help with wiring, no spark

Changed the engine as it’s blown (5wire) bought a new one (5wire) but I don’t know about connecting the wires to the loom, original was white to white green to green/white blue/white to blue/white yellow to yellow and black red to black red, but the new engine had a block connector I cut and added bullet connections the wires are 2 yellow 1 green 1 blue 1 black/red I connected up colour to colour apart from a yellow to white with no spark, help would be appreciated.

i would have ignored the colours and just plugged it in as bikes or parts can have different colours.
as long as its the right connector ( 5 or 6 wires )

Yeah should have just plugged it in anyways, manufacturers don’t strictly stick to a wiring colour code :/ you’ll have to find which three are coming from the stator to begin with
