Fuel tank with no thread?

Hi, I am new to pit bikes and bought a couple which were basically in bits.
By looking at the tank and trying to match it up on ebay and google etc, I think it's a ghost bike, and the tank had no thread?
Is there a special cap for these?

May sound a stupid question, but never had one before!
