Exclamation too much oil ??

hi on my thumpstar i made a bad mistake and put in too much oil i then took it out and it smoked like hell and then died the bike would not start after that i then opened my head cylinder and the piston had scorched my barrel so i have got to get a new piston and barrel but i thought even though the piston had scorched the barrel it would still start and when i did get it going i would throttle and it would die out does anyone know anything on this matter?????

Too much oil can cause excess pressure

Re: too much oil ??

that wasn't the smartest move...

You fill the oil thing with about 500ml. Then (while killswitch is off) kick it over ten times. Check the dipstick level. kick another ten times. Check again. and it should reach a certain point on the dipstick near the bottom. add more oil if needed.

sounds like your piston rings. as for the throttle issue, that just sounds like something else
