Hi guys, im new to pitbikes. Im looking at getting a WPB 125 crf70 for christmas. But im still not completely convinced about it breaking...
I've read lots of reviews about other pitbikes, but not really on welsh pitbikes... are these any good? anything better i could get? dont really want a 2nd hand and im not willing to spend over 600 quid.
How much would a welsh break for shredding around a field with 10ft tabletops and berms etc.
Im a downhill biker and used to big jumps so its likely im gonna start hitting bigger stuff once ive got used to the bike. what parts are most likely to break and how easy + expensive to fix?
I just really need to good, honest info on pitbikes so i can make up my mind. its quite a commitment to spend 580 quid, especially if it just breaks every ride....
Forget new. You will need an ally swingarm, dnm rear shock, sp forks. Minimum if you reckon your gona smash them jumps. Look for a 2nd hand all the way. A few are starting to go up for sale as seasons finishing. But be prepeared to travel for it.
Www.luckymx.co.uk check out the new rfz it is the best bike for the money, but as others have said you will need to spend more than £600 to get something capable of doing decent jumps ect
iM IN THE SAME BOAT BEEN LOOKING FOR A WEEK NOW
I THINK ITS GOING TO HAVE TO BE THE YCF 150 SP1 OR 2
BLOODY EXPENSIVE THOUGH.
ARE THERE ANY SELLERS OUT THERE.
COME ON GUYS SELL YOUR YCF SP3
for a start i wouldn't bother with a 125 - go straight for a 140cc atleast as you'll be wanting a bigger engine in no time - secondly , as has been said either buy a good secondhand bike thats had all the upgrades done or as your a DH'er like myself , just build your own to your own spec . G
