Old old thread .. but anyway .

Yeh mate it turned out to be earth connection

I had weeks of not running correctly over a loose earth connection.
I changed the CDI, plug, Coil, bought minkuni 22mm which wasnt as good as the molkt 26mm.

I checked and adjusted the pick-up gap, Done my valve clearance about 50 times, and played with the carb for hours on end.

After a few weeks, found the connection, plugged it in and sprayed some WD40, and she ran like a dream
