Re: Bike wont rev ?
Its sorted now !!!
I got the ignition coil through the post this morning ... replaced the old one and didnt make much of a difference.
I had a feeling it was running lean hence the backfiring so i put the clip down a notch and fired it up are a few seconds i could rev it
More responsive than it was with the old coil. but it was lean all along.

Re: Bike wont rev ?
Grrrrr its playing up again.
ive changed the oil, new coil.
it idles near enough perfect but jumps about slighty, and when i rev it slowly the revs will pick up but it still back fires till about half throttle and the it revs okay.
Any ideas ?
Also the carb needle is slightly bent and out of shape could this effect it ?

Re: Bike wont rev ?
yeah carb needle being bent would of course affect it. Go get a new one.
could still be the mixture out slightly.
