Front shock sticking

Hi guys when I pull the front brake and compress my forks they don't decompress fully .... almost like there sticking a little bit ... bikes a 17 plate kurz rt1

Fozks that don't compress either have damaged internals, bent tubes or too much oil ( bad seals can let water in too) causing a hydraulic lock.

Do you know how much travel your fork is supposed to have? Wrap a cable tie round the fork with the bike in loaded and push it down to the dust seal then fully compress the suspension as much as you can, now measure the distance the cable tie has moved and compare to the specs for your fork.
