49cc mini moto/mini quad help asap
right i have got my little nefu a mini moto quadard
if starts up ticks over fine you can rev it and then it will die the plug is black every time i pull it out
does any body no the number of turned the carb screw should be turned in ????
the bike will run i can go up and down my street and then it will die

just clean or replace the plug, and put the clip on the needle up one notch at a time, repeat this till the plug is a nice brown colour

but some times the bike will ride up and down my street then die :s

black spark plug means its running rich so play with the needle height

depends on what carb. usally clockwise is lean and anticlockwise is rich.
as far as i can remember the idle screw should be 4 full turns out from full in then just play around from there

on my mini moto i can ride flat out for about a minute then it dies and wont go over half revs for a bit. its just how them crappy little 2 strokes are  but mine used to do it a lot worse and i found some of the rubber fuel pipe stuck in the jet

i have had 1 b4 and i was tuned by a gokart mechanic and i never had that problem

bump the qaud will ride for about 100 yards then die then you start it sit on it red and it cuts out :@ help

you need to replace the carb as there a pain in the a*** to get right and they will drive you insane
