Bike: 110 pit bike
Fresh member... 110 pit bike question...

bought a 110 pit bike couple months ago, it was in real bad shape, so i ended up stripping it down to nothing engine included, replaced some engine components, piston... rings... gear shift shaft... etc...

now completely rebuilt the engine, and starting to rebuild, engine is almost brand new after rebuild, replacing a 13T 420 pitch front sprocket with a 16T 420 pitch, it had a 38T 420 pitch rear sprocket and thats being replaced with a 32T 420 pitch, also i have changed the 19mm carb with a 26mm race carb which has also been cleaned and restored,

it had 10" wheels on front and back which are being replaced with a 12" disc braked rear and a 14" disc braked front,

what do you think i could expect the top end to be on it once rebuilt fully??

cheers all

Don't take this as gospel as the other guys will point it out better but I think a 26mm carb is too big for a 110.....

Re: Fresh member... 110 pit bike question...

na, i realize that i wont get too much top end lol, but just wondered what kinda power increase i could expect?

not sure on the carb peeps , but its on there and runs good too

im looking at around £300 total rebuild cost all in including the bike,

there's not much i havent done respray, plastics, seat, you name it its new or restored ,

I just figureds spending that kinda money on doing it up i might as well make it go a lil better too right??

thanks for the reply's
