poor front brake

hi my front brake on my 140 is rubbish,it slows you down abit but dosent have a bite like my other pits have,i rang don and hes gonna send me some new pads as even though mine are near new he said the might of glazzed.

ive bled them and got all the chip shop oil out and put dot 4 in and its made no difference i may try and re bleed it.

its a standerd lmx 140 so it has a single pot caliper and the bigger of the two master cylinders i think 10mm? does that sound right?if so can i just get any old moped or 10mm master cylinder?cheers ant

Re: poor front brake

i hear you mate.
mine not great either.
i have the smaller 2 pot caliper and smaller master cylinder.
mine are rubbing, the pads not backing off after braking causing drag.
