Lose of Power and Massive backfiring

Hi all,

Not had this problem I having just now before, ok here gos hope u can help,

I was out on the bike today all was well for about a hours and then it bike just started to losing power and started to backfire as well, when to my mates work and cleaned the bike and striped the carb and clean it and it only got worst, the bike would not start and when it did it just died again this happed a few time and then when the bike started ya had to rev it hard, as u revved it there was some massive backfiring.... flames etc ... not sure what to try any help would be great

Plus when the clutch is in and u are about to change gear the bike wants to cut out??
