Anyone got a spare unwanted cdi knocking about? Need to test an engine I've got knocking around

Cheaper the better aslong as it's a 5 pin one

Yep. Go for a new one for only a few quid.
2nd class post costs £2.80 and at least you'll know you ain't using an used duff one.
