imsure dr pepper didnt intentianally sell you it knowing that it wouldentfit. i think its just a mistake on his part.

Like simms16 said, just get a bigger engine. The money you spend on a BB kit, possibly a carb, then probably have to uprate the clutch, you might as well sell your lump and buy a bigger one complete.

I'm sure that engine has a 54mm bore and stroke (got 54 in the engine number) but you can't be 100% certain till you strip it down.

I had that engine, the clutch is very light, will probably slip with any increase in power, also the carb is quite small. I just sold my engine and bought a bigger one

140 crank wouldnt fit in that bottom end because your clutch is directly attached to your crank.splines different on the 2 cranks.
