Re: Nearly Finished my BBR/Takegawa bike!

In theory you could run hopes on chinky hubs/frame but I wouldnt be selling them, if you wanted any help im happy to give advice but you would be looking at approx 200 quid for just the adapters/spacers as it takes a fair bit of time on the computer/laser cutter/welder, probably around 10 hours of work, plus 80 quid materials.

The bike is largely used for sitting on the back of our pickup and attracting attention/advertising (hence the over-the-top-ness, but it will be ridden on a weekly basis.

Re: Nearly Finished my BBR/Takegawa bike!

Yeh, by far the best brakes about, the only reason it costs so much is because your paying for somones time to do the designing, which is particularly time consuming without the stuff infront of you, with my wheels I just measured them up and stuck it in the computer but to do it with some one elses wheels would be tricky as the measurements have to be exact so all the holes line up, and without them in front of me that would be difficult., the steel cutting cost about 70 quid plus postage, but ive already got the welder/programs, so didnt cost me too much.

is it hard to pull them they seem quite far away from the actual grip and to pull the rear lever do you have to pull the clutch in aswell, mint bike though.
