Wheel width question??

Hey guys, might seem bit of a silly question to some but does for example 2.50 and 3.50 on the superwide mags mean the width of the rim or could you enlighten me as I want to make sure the mags I get arnt to wide. Thanks

yeah its the width of the rim, most people run the 2.50 rears

yup, so the wider the rim the wider the tyre you are meant to run. Problem is you can't really get different width 12" tyres so they end up pinched or stretched flat which effects the handling
